Job Description:
A company is looking for a Trauma Registrar (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Collect, enter, submit, report, and maintain data for the trauma
registry
Assign ICD-10 diagnosis codes and Abbreviated Injury Scores (AIS)
to injuries and procedures
Perform daily chart reviews on injured patients and collaborate
with the Trauma Program Manager and PI Coordinator
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and human
anatomy/physiology
Knowledge of AIS/ISS and ICD-10 coding
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electronic Health Record,
Health Information Management, or similar fields
Preferred 1 year of trauma registry experience with Accredited
Records Technician or Trauma Registrar certification
Additional hospital or pre-hospital experience is preferred
