Job Description:
A company is looking for a Deputy General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities
Support transactional and contract needs, providing counsel on
business issues related to product offerings
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements while
developing legal strategies to minimize risk
Provide legal advice and support to senior management and
collaborate with external counsel
Required Qualifications
10+ years of legal experience, with 3-5 years as in-house counsel
for a healthcare organization
Active member in good standing with the state bar
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to
lead cross-functional teams
Working knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to the
health insurance and healthcare industry
Experience with cloud-based technologies and Artificial
Intelligence is a plus
