Position: Registered Nurse Freestanding Emergency Room Duration: Full time Location: McAllen, TX 78503 Pay Rate: $28.94 - 43.41/hr Shift: Days: 7a-7p and Nights: 7p-7a Someone who has previous FSED experience . At least 6 months of recent ED experience Candidates have to understand the difference in resource availability between a main ED and an FSED. Must be a team player and willingly to help out with every patient. Must be an experienced RN who is comfortable with triage, coordinating transfers out, STEMI, Sepsis, Stroke, and Trauma patients. Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Registered Nurse Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course, or PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR, or CPR for Healthcare Providers, or Heart Saver CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
