Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pharmacist I, Clinical Prior
Authorization.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Prior Authorizations and Drug Utilization Review duties
Participate in the Coverage Determination process and make coverage
denial determinations
Provide clinical expertise and support for formulary decisions and
operational departments
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D with current unrestricted
licensure as an RPh
Two years of work experience in a clinical setting or relevant
pharmacy residency preferred
Knowledge of PBM industry and formulary management principles
desired
Exceptional clinical skills and sound clinical judgment
Proficiency in drug literature evaluation and electronic databases
preferred
