Job Description:
A company is looking for a Billing Follow Rep 1 to manage
billing follow-up activities and insurance claims processing.
Key Responsibilities
Review accounts and apply billing follow-up knowledge to ensure
proper reimbursement from insurance payors
Communicate with internal teams and external customers to validate
and correct billing information
Maintain documentation of billing activities and comply with
departmental performance standards
Required Qualifications
Typically requires 1 year of related experience in a
medical/billing reimbursement environment
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is
required
Basic keyboarding proficiency and ability to operate computer
software systems
Preferred knowledge of medical terminology and coding practices
Ability to read and interpret documents related to billing and
insurance
